  • Registration. Register each EUC using a consistent set of data covering aspects such as business area, criticality assessment and controls.
  • Security. Secure your inventory using role-based security at multiple levels, including business unit, folder, application and attribute. Active Directory integration improves data quality as fields such as departments, people’s names and email addresses can be referenced directly. In this way you can comply with regulations that require, for example, data separation or segregation of duties.
  • Flexible configuration. Use the wide range of IMS configuration options to define pages, components, attribute groups, and individual attributes; as well as attribute rules, including calculated values, visibility and specific rules for editing data.
  • Audit trail. Get a full attribute audit trail showing previous and current values. This will let you track all changes to every attribute you define, such as drop-downs, date-pickers and Boolean fields.

ClusterSeven IMS is highly scalable, able to store inventories of 100,000 files or more. It can also import existing inventories from other systems, to help you get started quicker.
